2.) Special Note
Note: In this walkthrough the way I explain how to get to each temple
is from the starting screen of the game, just because someone might
just need to know how to find a certain temple.

3.) Let's get started:
You will start out in the main start out screen.
In the upper left hand corner there is a cave.
Enter the cave to receive the "Wooden Sword"
To get to temple 1 from the main screen go up 1 screen,
right 1 screen, then up 3 screens, and left one screen.
The middle tree is the entrance to Temple 1.

Temple 1:
From the start of the temple, go to the room on the left.
Kill 3 bats, and get the key. Now go back to the entrance room,
and go to the room on the right, kill the Stalfos and get another key.
Go back to the entrance room and go up 2 rooms.
Kill the Stalfos and get yet another key.
Go to the room to the right to get the Compass.
Now go left 2 rooms, up 1 room, and right 1 room to get the Map.
From there, go up 2 rooms, kill the enemies in each room to
get the items they leave behind, and then go left 1 room.
In this room be careful of the traps. Sneak to the left side of
the room, and push the far block either up or down. Go down the
stairs in the center to receive the Bow. Now, go back up the
stairs, sneak back to the right side of the room, go 1 room right,
and 2 rooms down. This should be the room where you got the map.
Now, go right 1 room, kill the Goriyas and get the Wooden Boomerang.
Go right 1 more room, kill the enemies and get the key that appears.
Go up 1 room, and now this is the Temple boss "Aquamentus" the Dragon.
Kill him, get the Heart Piece, and go to the room to the right to
receive the 1st piece of the Triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
After you defeat temple 1, go right one screen,
up 1 screen, and then right 4 screens.
There is a rock in the middle of the screen.
Bomb a hole in the bottom right hand side,
go in and collect the heart piece. Now outside go up 1 screen,
and left 2 screens. Careful not to get hurt here,
not go up one more screen. Watch out for the Blue Lynel here.
On the top left of the screen is a cave, go inside the cave,
and you will receive the White Sword.
Now I am going to get you to temple 2 from game’s starting screen.
So get back there. From the main screen, go right 4 screens,
up 2 screens, right 2 screens, up 1 screen, left one screen,
and up 1 more screen. There is the entrance to Temple 2.

Temple 2:
From the entrance room, go right 1 room,
kill all the Ropes (I just call them snakes)
and get the key. Go back to the entrance room.
Now go up 1 room, and left 1 room. You’ll get another
key in this room. Now go right 3 rooms, in this room you
will get the compass. Go one room to the left, up 1 room,
and right 1 room. In this room you will get the map.
Go one room to the left, up 1 room, kill the snakes and
get the key. Now, go 1 room to the right, kill the
blue Goriyas and get the magical boomerang. Go back
to the left 1 room, go up 1 room, kill the 2 Moldrons,
and get yet another key. Go right 1 room to collect bombs,
go back left 1 room, and go up 3 rooms. This is the temple’s boss,
Dodongo. To kill him, just place 2 bombs in front of him,
he eats it and explodes. Collect the heart piece, go left 1 room,
to collect the piece of triforce.

Back up to the Overworld:
Ok, after you’ve defeated Temple 2, we can get you the
Blue Ring but you will need 250 rupees. I usually get
the secret rupees that are scattered around.
(See the Items & Locations section for them.)
Starting from temple 2, go down 1 screen, right 1 screen,
down 1 screen, left 2 screens, down 2 screens, left 3 screens,
up 1 screen, left 4 screens, up 3 screens,
and there are 6 statues. Touch the top-middle statue
(be careful they become alive when you touch them,
and some move around fast) to reveal a secret stairway
to where you can buy the Blue Ring.
Now it’s time to go into Temple 3. Though I am strating from the
starting screen for the game again. From the starting screen,
go up 1 screen, left 4 screens, down 1 screen,
and right one screen to the entrance of Temple 3.

Temple 3:
From the entrance screen, go left 1 room,
in this room there is a key. Go up 1 room,
kill the zols and get another key. Go up 2 more rooms,
kill the zols, get another key, and go 1 room to the
right to get the map. Now go 1 room left, go up 2 rooms,
and left 1 room to get another key. Now right 1 room,
down 2 rooms, left 2 rooms, and there is another key
in this room. Now go down 1 room, and right 1 room to
get the compass. Ok, now go left 1 room, down 1 room,
and in this room go down the stairs, this is where the raft is.
Go back up the stairs, up 1 room, right 2 rooms, up 1 room,
and right 1 room. You should be in the room where you got the map.
Go down 1 room, kill the 3 red darknuts, go 1 room to the right,
and kill all the enemies. Now go up 1 room to the temple’s
boss, “Manhandla” I like to use bombs to kill this creature.
Collect the heart piece, go up 1 room, and collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
After you’ve defeated Temple 3, you will need to
buy the Blue Candle. From Temple 3, go left 1 screen,
up 1 screen, right 3 screens, and into the cave on
top-middle of the screen. You will need 60 rupees to buy
the Blue Candle. Go out of the cave, from there go
left 1 screen, and up 1 screen. You will see a green
dock in the middle of the screen. Walk on to it,
now that you have the raft, you can sail across the water.
Once across you are now at the entrance to Temple 4.

Temple 4:
Once inside temple 4, go left 1 room, and gets the key.
Now go back right 1 room, up 1 room, and right 1 room.
You will need to use the candle right away in this room.
In this room you get the compass. Go back 1 room left, up 1 room,
left 1 room (you will need the candle for this room),
go up 1 room (again you will need the candle) to get a key.
Go up 1 room (you’ll need the candle), go right 2 rooms,
defeat all the enemies, push the block that is closest to the door,
it will reveal the secret stairway. Go down the stairway to get the ladder.
Now go back up, and go left 2 rooms. Now that you have the
ladder you can cross the water in that room, so go 1 room,
and right 1 room to get the map (you’ll need to use the candle).
In that room, bomb a hole in the top wall in the center,
go through it to get 10 rupees. Now bomb a hole in the left
wall in the center. Go through it and defeat Manhandla.
Now, go up 1 room, to get a key (you’ll need the candle).
Go right 1 room, you’ll need the candle in here,
but watch out for the traps. Go down 1 room, defeat all the enemies,
and move the block on the left, go right 1 room to the bosses’ room.
Go in and defeat “Gleeok” the 2-headed dragon, collect the heart piece,
and go up 1 room to collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
After defeating temple 4 sail back across the water.
Go back to the main starting screen of the game.
From there go 4 screens right, and on the left
side of the path on top there is some rock,
bomb on the right side of by the path. Go in the
secret cave and get the heart piece. Once out of the cave,
go right 4 more screens and up 2 screens. Now that
you have the ladder, you can walk out to get the heart
piece on the water. From there go up 2 more screens,
sail from the dock in the middle of the screen.
On the island go in the cave, and get the heart piece.
Sail back across the water, and go left 1 screen,
up 1 screen, left 1 screen, up 1 screen,
right 1 screen and up the ladder 1 screen.
Go in the cave and get the letter. Exit the cave,
go back down the latter 1 screen, and go right 1 screen.
Now this is kind of tricky. Along the top wall there
is a hidden path, which is located roughly behind the
tree with the cave. So go to the top of the screen,
and slowly move across it while holding up. Once you’ve found it,
there will be a cave, inside is 100 rupees.
Exit the cave and go down 1 screen, go left 2 screens,
down 1 screen. In this screen, there is a stairway
near the left side, but to the right is a little corner,
on the top part of the corner, bomb a hole to reveal a
secret cave with rupees in it.
Just a few more secrets before we go to Temple 5.
Exit the cave with the rupees and go left 5 screens.
You’ll see 5 green bushes, use the candle to burn the
bush on the bottom right side, go in the cave to receive
more rupees. Exit the cave, and go down 2 screens,
on the right side, burn the top bush to reveal another
secret cave with rupees in it. Exit the cave and go 2
screens left, burn the bush on the top left corner to
reveal a store. Go in and buy the Magical Shield and the Meat.
Exit the store and go down 1 screen, burn the bottom left
bush to reveal a secret cave with rupees in it. Exit the cave,
and go left 1 screen, down 1 screen, and left 1 screen.
Go in the cave in the upper middle of the screen,
show the old lady the letter that you go a little while ago,
and the potions will appear, buy some if you think you’ll need it,
The red can be used twice, the blue only once.
Ok, now, from the start screen of the game,
go right 8 screens, and up 1 screen.
Go into the cave on the upper left part of the
screen and buy some arrows (you’ll need them later on).
Exit the cave and from there, go up 3 screens,
left 1 screen, up 1 screen, left 2 screens,
go up the ladder 1 screen, left 1 screen,
Now go up 5 screens, and you will be at Temple 5.

Temple 5:
From the entrance room go right 1 room,
kill the Pols Voices’, and get the key.
Go back to the entrance room, go 1 up room
(you’ll need the candle), kill the 3 Gibdos to receive a key,
and go up 1 room. In here there are 3 dodongos,
kill them and you get more bombs. Go up 1 room to get the map,
and go back down 1 room, go left 1 room, and kill the enemies
to receive another key. Now go down 1 room, kill all the
Gibdos and bomb a hole in the center of the left wall,
go 1 room right, and kill all the blue darknuts.
Push the block on the far left side; go down the
stairs and up the other side. From that room,
go down 1 room and get the key. Bomb a hole in
the center of the right wall, go 1 room right and
get the extra bombs. Now go 1 room left, up 1 room,
and left 1 room. Kill the 6 darknuts (you may need some potion
if you’re not too good at fighting) push the block in the
center of the screen to open a secret stairway,
go down it to get the whistle, and go back up. Go
right 1 screen and move the block on the left to back
through the passage. Once out of the passage, go right one room,
bomb a hole in the center of the right wall,
and go 1 more room to the right. Kill the 3 gibdos,
go up 1 room, right 1 room, go up 1 room, and kill the
gibdos to get a key. Now go up 1 room, kill all the darknuts,
and get the compass. Go up 1 more room, get the key,
go left 1 room, kill all the Gibdos, and get another key.
Go left 2 rooms and now you are in the boss’ room.
You are now fighting against “Digdogger”, play the
whistle before fighting, defeat digdogger,
collect the piece of heart, go up 1 room, and
collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
After you defeat temple 5, from that screen,
go down 1 screen, and left 6 screens,
down 1 screen, left 1 screen, and touch the statue
on the top right to reveal the Power Bracelet.
Now go left 1 more screen, down 1 screen, somewhere
between the 2 blue ladders, bomb a hole in the
top of the screen to reveal another potion shop.
Go left 2 screens, and up 1 screen. Now, this
graveyard screen, go to the grave that is the
column from the right and the 2nd grave from the bottom.
Push it aside, and enter the grave to get the
Magical Sword Exit the grave, and go down 1 screen,
right 1 screen, and up 1 screen. There is the
Entrance to Temple 6.

Temple 6:
From the entrance room, go right 1 room,
watch out for the orange wizzrobes,
kill them, and get the key. Now go left 2 rooms,
up 1 room, and kill the enemies to get the compass.
Go up 1 room, kill the bats, and get the key. Go up 2 rooms,
kill the enemies, and move the block on the left to open the doors.
Go up 2 rooms, kill Gleeok the 3 headed dragon, go right 1 room,
kill all the enemies, get the map, and go up 1 room.
Kill all the enemies in this room, move the block on the left side,
go down the secret stairs to get the magic wand. Go back up the stairs,
go down 1 room, right 1 room, kill the wizzrobes, and get the key.
Go back left 1 room, go down 2 rooms, kill the enemies to open the door,
go right 1 room,, kill all the enemies, and move the block in the
center to reveal secret stairs. Go down the stairs and up the other side,
go down 1 room, go left 1 room, and up 1 room. This is the
boss, “Gohma’s” room. You need the bow and arrow to kill him.
Collect the heart piece, go up 1 room, and collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
Now aafter temple 6 is completed we will start off
from the start screen to get to temple 7. Now from the
start screen go up 1 screen, and left 5 screens. There
is a row of bushes in the middle of the screen. Burn the
top one to reveal a rupee secret. From there go up 1 screen,
and left 1 screen, and burn the bottom right bush to reveal
another secret with rupees. Exit the cave and go right 1
screen and up 1 screen. Play the whistle and the entrance
to Temple 7 will appear.

Temple 7:
Ok, from the entrance room, go right 1 room, up 1 room,
right 3 rooms, get the key, go back left 4 rooms and bomb
a hole in the center of the top wall. Now go up 1 room, right 1 room,
in this room you get the compass. Now go back left 2 rooms,
go down 2 rooms, get the key, go up 3 rooms, and get the extra bombs.
Now go down 1 room, right 1 room, up 2 rooms, and kill the digdogger.
Bomb a hole in the center of the right wall, go right 1 room,
kill the 2 moldrons, and get the key. Now go left 2 rooms, up 1 room,
and this is where you use the meat (also known as enemy bait).
Just give it to the hungry guard. Now go up 1 room, get the map,
bomb a hole in the center of the top wall, go up 1 room, and get the rupees.
Now go down 1 room, right 1 room, bomb hole in the right wall, go right 1 room,
kill the enemies, move the block on the left, go down the stairs, and get
the red candle. Go back up the stairs, go left 1 room, up 1 room, right 1 room,
kill all the enemies, and get the key. Now go back left 1 room, down 1 room,
right 1 room, bomb a hole in the right wall, and continue right 2 rooms. Kill
the digdogger, go up 1 room, kill the 3 dodongos, and bomb a hole in the right wall.
Go right 1 room, kill the wall masters, and push the block in the center on the right,
to reveal secret stairs. Go down and up the other side, now bomb a hole in the right wall,
and go right 1 room. This is the boss’ room. Aquamentus is back, kill him, collect the
heart piece, go right 1 room, and collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
Now back to the starting screen of the game. Before we go to Temple 8,
there’s 1 more secret. Go up 1 screen, right 1 screen,
up 2 screens, and left 1 screen. Count 5 bushes from the right,
burn it, go in and get the heart piece Exit the cave and go
right 1 screen, down 3 screens, right 3 screens, up 2 screens,
and right 2 screens (take the upper path), and down 1 screen.
There is a bush that appears to be in the middle of the path,
burn it to reveal the entrance to Temple 8.

Temple 8:
OK this temple can get rather irritating, so from the entrance room,
go right 1 room and get the key. Now go left 2 rooms, kill Manhandla,
go left 1 more room, kill all the enemies, move the block on the far left,
go down the stairs, and get the Magic Book. Go back up, go right 2 rooms,
up 1 room, kill another Manhandla, bomb a hole in the center of the top wall,
and go up 1 room. Kill all the enemies in this room, get the key, go right one 1room,
get the compass, go back left 3 rooms, and get the key in that room. Now go right 1 room,
up 1 room, kill the blue Gohma, go up 1 room, hear the words of wisdom, go down 1 room,
go right 1 room, go up 1 room, bomb a hole in the center of the top wall, go up 1 room,
and kill the manhandla. Get the map, go up 1 room, kill the blue gohma,
bomb a hole in the center of the left wall, go left 1 room, down 1 room,
and get the rupees. Now go up 1 room, right 2 rooms, kill all the enemies,
move the block on the far left, and go down the stairs to get the magic key.
Now go back up the stairs, go left 1 room, down 2 rooms, kill all the enemies in this room,
and go 1 room to the right. Now go down the stairs and up the other side. In this room,
kill all the enemies, go left 1 room, go up 1 room, bomb a hole in the center of the right wall,
and go 1 room right. Now in the boss’ room, kill Gleeok the 4 headed dragon, collect the heart piece,
go up 1 room, and collect the piece of triforce.

Back to the Overworld:
Ok, one more temple to defeat. Temple 9,
Go buy some potion, if it’s your first time,
you’ll need it. OK, from the start screen of
the game go up 1 screen, right 1 screen, up 4 screens,
left 1 screen, up 2 screens, and left 2 screens.
Go over to the left rock, and bomb a hole in the
bottom of it to reveal the entrance to Temple 9.

Temple 9:
Finally made it to temple 9.This is a difficult temple
you will probably need some life potion. Ok, now from the
entrance room, go up 2 rooms, bomb a hole in the center of the left wall,
go left 1 room, kill the 2 red Lanmolas, move the block on the far left,
go down the stairs and up the other side. From this room,
go right 2 rooms kill Patra, go down 2 rooms,
bomb a hole in the center of the right wall go right 1 room,
bomb a hole in the top wall, go up 1 room, and kill another patra to get the map.
Bomb a hole in the top wall, go up 1 room, kill all the enemies,
bomb a hole in the top wall, go up another room, kill all the enemies,
move the block on the far left, go down the stairs to get the red ring,
and go back up the stairs. Now go down 3 rooms, left 1 room, up 2 rooms,
left 1 room, bomb a hole in the bottom wall, go down 1 room,
kill the enemies and get the compass. Now go up 2 rooms, go right 1 room,
up 1 room, bomb a hole in the left wall, go left 1 room, kill all the enemies,
move the block, on the left, go down the stairs and up the other side.
Now go down 1 room, go right 1 room, kill the enemies, move the block on the far left,
go down the stairs and up the other side. Now go up 1 room, kill patra,
move the block on the far left, go down the stairs, and up the other side.
In this room kill all the enemies, bomb a hole in the top wall, go up 1 room,
kill all the enemies, move the block in the middle block on the right side,
go down the stairs and get the silver arrows. Now go back up, go down 1 room,
move the block on the left, go down the stairs, and come up the other side.
Now go up 1 room, kill all the enemies, go left 1 room, go up 2 rooms,
kill the enemies, move the block to reveal a passage way,
go down it and come up the other side. Kill the enemies in this room,
bomb a hole in the left wall, go left 1 room, kill the enemies,
move the block on the left to reveal another passage way,
go down and up the other side. Kill patra and go up 1 room.
You will need the silver arrows in this room to help defeat ganon.
Just start stabbing around and when you hit him with your sword,
shoot a silver arrow at him right after. After you kill him,
collect the triforce laying there, go up 1 room, and here you will
rescue Zelda, just swipe the flames with your sword. After temple 9
is defeated you can restart the game in quest number 2.
