Chapter Three: Spirit's Grave
The Maku Tree will tell you to go to the Yoll Gravyard, so lets head there. Go down one screen, and burn the tree that is to your right with some Ember Seeds. Go through the new path, and open up the treasure chest. You'll get 30 rupees. Now go back left, and go two screens down. Now enter the Shop, and buy the Wooden Sheild for 30 rupees.
Now exit the shop. Now to get to the Yoll Graveyard, go one screen right, one screen up, one screen down, and burn the tree that is on the right. Then go through the path it makes.
Now burn the tree infront of you, and go one screen to the right, one down, and one left. You will see a group of kids talking about a cave underneath a tree, and how spooky it is. Then they run away. Go down a screen, and go right two screens. Now burn the bottom tree, and a cave will appear.
Inside the cave, make your way straight up to the torch, light it, go back down, then go to the torch on the other side and light it. The room will become bright, and the Graveyard Key will drop down.
Now exit the cave, and make your way left two screens, up one screen, right one screen, and up one more screen. Now go up a screen and use the Graveyard Key on the gate. Now go right one, and down three screens. Now enter the temple looking structure.
Welcome to the first dungeon, Spirit's Grave. From the entrance, go right a screen. Kill the Zols, and move the block to the right.
Now go up a screen, and push the block so it goes into the black tile. The torches will light, and the door to your right will open. Go through it. Kill the Stalfos in this room, and head up a screen. Kill the Ghini in here, and the door will open, and a small key will drop down. Pick up the key, and head into the next room.
In here, just go all the way to the left, and push the block out of your way.
Now go up, unlock the door with your key, and into the next room. In here, push the block on your right down, and go up through there and open up the treasure chest. You will get a small key. Push the block thats on your left down, and go one screen to the left. In here, just push the bottom block to the right, and the block above it up.
Now folloe the path all the way around, but don't go through the opening, go a screen to the right. Now go all the way over, and go through the door. Heres another little block puzzle. Its not that hard. Just get the blocks to look like they do in this screenshot:
Now go to the right, and step on the switch. A treasure chest will appear. Now go back down, and go all the way toi the right, and go up and step on the switch. A platform will appear.
now go back down, and use the platform to get over to the treasure chest. Open up the chest, and you will get a small key.
Now go back down, and through the door. Go one screen to the left, and through the opening that I said not to go through yet. Go through it now. In this room, just ride the platform into the next room. Cut down the bushes, and go through the locked door at the bottom of the room, and get ready for the mini-boss. This mini-boss is pretty easy...when he sends out his little ghosts, slash at those with your Sword. When they die, run up to him and slash him with your Sword. Repeat this until he dies.
 
After you beat him, a fairy and a warp to the entrance will appear. Nab the fairy(if you need it), and head into the room to the left. In this next room, kill the Moblins, and unlock the door at the bottom of the room. Head through the door. Go all the way to the bottom of this room, and push the blocks so they look like this:
Head into the next room. In here, kill the Stalofos, and go through the little passageway to the right. Light both of the torches with Ember Seeds, and a staircase will appear. Go down it.
In this room, just head down the ladder, go to the right, go up that ladder, go all the way to the left, and pick up the Power Bracelet.
Now you're able to pick up and move pots. Exit this basement room. Head back down a screen, and pick up and throw the pots that are in the way of the stairs. Once they're gone, go up them(you can open up the treasure chest for a Ring if you want), and head down a screen. In this room, walk over to the pot, and push it onto the switch. The door will open, head through it. In here, kill all the Stalfos. Then move the pots out of the way of the treasure chest, and open it up to get the Boss Key.
Now head one room to the right. You're back at the entrance! Go through the warp. Now go a screen up, and make your way to the top left of the screen, and go through the opening. You have to move fast in this room, otherwise the WallMasters will take you back to the begining of the dungeon.
Go all the way to the right side of the room, and use the Boss Key on the door.
Boss Fight: Pumpkin Head
This boss is VERY easy. All you have to do is run up to him and slash him with your Sword until his body goes away. The pick up his head with the Power Bracelet, and throw it at the spirit that comes out. Repeat this until he dies.
 
After you beat him, pick up the Heart Container, and head into the next room. Go up and get the Essense of Time.
You will be warped to outside of the dungeon, and the Maku Tree will contact you. She says that since you got the first Essense, some of her memory is coming back. She also says that the next essense is located in the Western Woods...
