Chapter Two: The Black Tower
After you get the sword, go three screens down, and you will be at a small pathway, blocked off by a bush. Hack away the bush, and continue on that way.
You will now be in Lynna. There are a few things to do here, but first and formost, you must find the Maku Tree. So from the Shop, go two screens up.
If you talk to the man standing there, he will tell you that the Maku tree is located beyond the cave, so lets head through it!
Once you enter the cave, go one screen up. In this room, read the sign. It says "Danger!!!". Just ignore it, and continue on into the next room.
Just go straight through this next room, and in the room after that, go up the stairs.
You will now be at the Maku Tree!
The Maku Tree will explain to you what Veran's intentions are. But before she can tell Link what he needs to do to stop Veran, she starts to disapear!
Go to the screen to your right. You're now at the Time Portal that Veran created earlier. Ralph is also there.
Ralph says that if they go back in time, the will be able to stop Veran and save Nayru, and he steps through the portal. Follow him through.
 
Continue three screens down, and exit Lynna.
  
Go one screen to the left, two screens up, one screen left, one screen up, cross the bridge, one screen down, one screen left, and another screen down. You will now be at some kind of a work area.
Now go one screen down, and one screen right. Talk to the worker in yellow. He will tell you that this is the entrance to Queen Ambi's Tower being built to the Heavens. He also says that Nayru had some influence on the tower, and we all know who Nayru is being possesed by! He will let you through, so go through, and enter the Black Tower.
 
Go one screen to the right, one screen up, one screen left, and make your way over to the man standing with a piece of paper. Talk to him, and he will give you the Shovel. Now you can move all the debres!
Now scoop up some of the debres to your right, and make your way down. Its a shortcut back to the entrance! Lucky you! Now go down two screens, back to the worker that allowed you to enter. If you want to, you can grab the Piece of Heart that is to your right, now that you have the Shovel.
Now go left one screen, and up three screens. Go right three screens, and go up one screen. Now clear up the debres that is blocking your access to the cave, and enter it. Go up one screen, and push the block into place. The door will open, go through it.
Push the block to the right, and kill the annoying Keese.
Now make your way one screen to the right. Kill the Zols, and go one screen up. Push the block off the ledge and make your way along the right path. Push the left block up, and the right block to the right. Now go over and step on the switch, and a treasure chest will pop up. Go over and open it up. You get.......a small key!
Now go back into the room before this one, and go back to the room before that one. Now go all the way to the left side of the room, and open the locked door. Go through it. In this room, you have to do a little bit of block pushing to get the blocks onto the switch.
  
Now step on the switch. The door will open for you, go through it. Kill the stalfos in here, and move around the blocks to get a Piece of Heart.
Now push the center block down to unlock the door, and go through it. In this room, go up the small stairs, then go up the large stairs. You will see the Baby Maku Tree, surrounded by two Moblins. Take 'em out.
 
After you beat them, talk to the Baby Maku Tree. She says that she'll repay you when she grows up...and she opens up the gate. Head through it. There will be a Time Portal right in front of you, go through it.
Now go up where the gate used to be...and theres the Maku Tree! All better again! Talk to her. She tells you that if you don't stop Veran and save Nayru before she raises the Black Tower, then all of Lybrannia will be covered in shadows. She also tells you that you will need the eight Essenses of Time to stop Veran. She tells you to go to the Yoll Graveyard to get the first Essense of Time, and she also gives you the Seed Satchel.
