After you pull the Master Sword out of the Pedestal, a short video will take place. It shows Rauru, the sage of Light, and he explains what has happened. When Link opened up the door of time to get the Master Sword, Ganondorf also entered, and he got his hands on the Triforce. Because Link wasn't big enough to weild the Master Sword, the sages sealed Link's spirit in the Sacred Realm for 7 years. Noe Link is bigger, and you can use the Master Sword! Rauru sends Link on a quest to release the 6 sages from their captivity, and get their power. After the video, you will find yourself back in the Temple of Time. Link will begin to walk away, and he is stopped by a mysterious hooded figure. It is Sheik. Sheik explains to Link in a ridle where all of the Sages are located, and says that the first sage is in a Forest, but Link can't get there with his current equipment, so Sheik says that there is a weapon in Kakariko Village that will help Link out. Once she's done talking, exit the Temple of Time. Notice that you now have the Master Sword, you can use the Hylian Sheild, but a lot of the other weapons are unusable, like the Slingshot. Make your way into the Market, around all the re-deads, and go out to Hyrule Field. Before we go to Kakariko, head over to Lon Lon Ranch(make sure its Day Time). Head over to the large central area. As you can see, Ingo is now in charge of the Ranch. Pay rupees to him so you can ride the horses. Once you're in the central area, play Epona's song. Epona will gallop over to you, and hop on her. Now trot over to Ingo and talk to him. Eventually, he will ask if you want to eace him. Say yes. Once you beat him, he will demand a rematch, and as a bonus if you win, you get to keep Epona! Beat him this time around. If you lose, keep racing him until you eventually win. Once you win the race for Epona, he will go crazy, and lock all the gates in the Ranch, so you can't leave. That isn't a problem though. Gallop full speed at the wall on the right/left side of the entrance, and you'll jump right over it. You now have Epona! Play Epona's song anywhere in Hyrule Field to call her to you. Now ride over to Kakariko. Hop off Epona, and climb the stairs into the village.
Dampe's Grave
New Items/Weapons:
Once you enter Kakariko Village, make your way straight ahead to the Graveyard. Once you enter it, follow the path, and make a left, up the small hill. Pull back the gravestone you see that has some plants infront of it. It will reveal a hole. Jump down into it. You will now be in a place called ?. Walk forward, and talk to the ghost of Dampe. He will want to race you, and if you beat him, he says he'll give you a prize. Accept his challenge. This really isn't a race, you just have to follow Dampe all the way to the end. He will throw fire, just side step those. Its pretty easy. Once you get to the end, Dampe will disappear, and there will be a treasure chest. Open it up to get the Hookshot. Equip the Hookshot to a C. Now go forward, to the blue blocks that are blocking your path. Play the Song of Time, and they will go away. Now go through the passageway, and you will find yourself in the Windmill. Hop down and exit the Windmill(theres a Heart Piece in here you might want to get). Now exit Kakariko Village.

Once you're back in Hyrule Field, hop on Epona, and ride to the entrance of the Kokiri Forest. Hop off Epona, and enter. Crss the bridge, and make your way into the forest. You should notice a few things that are different right away: all the Kokiri are inside their houses, and there are monsters everywhere. Uh-oh. Climb up the vines, and enter the Lost Woods. Go right and then go left, and once you eventually get to Mido, play Saria's Song, and she will let you through. Now this time around there is no music, so just go R,L,R,L,F,L,R. Once you get to the Sacred Forest Meadow, you have to go through the maze, only there are Moblins walking around in it. When they have their back torwards you, turn the corner and shoot them in the back with your Hookshot. Eventually you will make it to the big slope, leading up to where you met Saria as a kid. There will be a Giant Moblin here. To get past him, wait until he smashes his club on the ground, then sidestep the wind. Keep doing that until you're able to walk past him. Continue up the slope, and walk over to the tree stump where you met Saria as a kid. Sheik will appear, and say some stuff, then Sheik will teach you the Minuet of Forest, which allows you to warp back to this location anywhere in Hyrule when you play it. When Sheik leaves, pull out your Hookshot, and hook onto the tree branch that outcrops over the Temple. Once you are pulled up there, enter the Forest Temple.

In the courtyard you will be greeted by two Wolfos. You know what to do--slice 'em with your Sword. Once you beat both of them, climb up the vines and on the right wall to reach the top of the tree trunk. Jump across to the other side and get the small key in the chest. Jump down, and go through the doors. In the main room of the Forest Temple are four torches that must be lit by four different Poes hidden within the dungeon. Completing a section will light the torch, and when all of them are lit, the elevator for the boss room will be activated. Start by heading to the door straight ahead from the entrance you came in. Once you enter the Chamber two Stalfos will appear. Use your Hookshot to freeze them while they attack and then use jumping attacks to beat them. The Stalfos can be hard to beat, so just focus on them one at a time. Once you beat them, a small chest will appear, that contains a small key. Break the pots, and grab the fairies in a bottle. Head back out into the main chamber, and play the Song of Time on the door with the blue block infront of it. It will disapear, then go through the door. Defeat the Deku Baba and the Octorok, and use your Hookshot on the skulltulas that are on the vines to your right. You won't be able to kill one of them, but thats okay. Climb up the vines, and enter the door at the top. Freeze the blue bubble in here with Deku Nuts, and use a jumping strike to destroy it. Open up the chest that will appear to get the dungeon map. Exit this room and kill the deku baba. Vlimb and balance on the railing and use your Hookshot to cross over to the opposite balcony with the target on it. Press the switch to lower the water in the well. Jump down and climb down the well, run across to the other side, and grab the small key. Head back to the main room. In the main room, use your small key to unlock the door on the left and head inside. Deal with the bubble and then climb up the ladders. Navi will tell you that arrows are painted on the floor(like we couldnt already see that). These arrows provide clues about which direction the blocks need to be pushed. The green block needs to be pulled out of its spot and pushed in. When its in place, take the aldder up and push the red block until it cant go any farther. Now jump back down. Using the green block, get to the other side of the red block and push it into position. Next, climb up the red block and use the ladder to reach the exit. Defeat the blue bubbles that block your path. Run down the twisted corridor to the end. Navi will warn you that the Wallmaster will grab you and take you back to the begining of the temple if you stand still for too long. Jump on the pillars, and use your small key on the door and go through. Head down all the flights of stairs, ignoring the Poes in the mirrors, and enter the door at the bottom. In this room, a Stalfos will pop up. Stay away from the cnter of the room and counter-attack to defeat him. Once he's gone, the center floor that was missing will drop, and there will be two more Stalfos(you can now step in the center). This battle is timed. If you dont beat both Stalfos quickly enough, they will regenerate. Use the same technique as before but try to deal with one at a time. You also can freeze them with your Deku Nuts and Hookshot. Once you beat both of them, you will be awarded with the Fairy Bow. After you get the Fairy Bow, head back to the previous room. There are three Mirrors and the poe will teleport to each. Sneak up on it when it is in a mirro and shoot it with an arrow. When you hit it when it is in all three of the mirrors, it will come out, and go down to the bottom floor. Head down there, and get ready to fight it. Just wait for it to wind up and move out of the way, then strike it with your Sword or Bow. When its gone you'll get a small key. Head back to the room before the twisted corridor. Pull out your Fairy Bow and shoot the eye that is above it. The corridor will straighten out. Run through it, jump down, and open up the chest for the boss key, and jump into the hole(do this fast so the wallmaster doesnt get you). Down here beat the blue bubbles and continue on to the next room. You'll arrive on a ledge with a deku baba right beside you. Deal with the deku baba and take the first door on the right. Inside is a wallmaster. Z/L-target it and dodge when it turns green and lunges at you. Counter-attack and it will split into three smaller hands. Quickly strike all three before it reforms again, and you'll get a small key. Head back to the ledge room and go through the door. Jump down, and you'll be back in the green block room. Go through it again(you dont have to re-push the blocks)and make your way back to the room outside the twisted corridor. Shoot the eye to make it all twisted again. Go through the corridor, and make your way all the way past the room where you fought the three Stalfos. In here, defeat the second poe the same way you did the first one(fire arrows at the mirrora, then fight her when she comes out). You'll get the compass, and the second torch lit. Head up the stairs and go through the normal corridor. Jump across the room, climb the ladder, and use your small key on the locked door, and go through. Destroy the green bubbles in the long corridor. Use your small key on the door. Inside the chamber you'll find spinning pillars. Ready your Bow, then jump across the pilars. By shooting the eye through the flame in the center, the ice covering the eye will melt, and the corridor you just went through will get all twisted. Now head back through the now twisted corridor, into the room before that, and drop down the hole. This room always reminded me of checkers...anyway, you'll now be in a room with a checkered floor and a plate with hole in in is smashing down. Note where the holes are and run to safe spots inbetween to reach the switch to unlock the door at the end. Now carefully make your way over to the door, and go through it. Use your bow on the portrait on the wall. Five puzzle block pieces will drop from the ceiling. Four of them are form a portrait of the third poe. Move them all to make the portrait before time runs out. When you do, the third poe will come out. Use the same technique on this poe as you did on the other poe. When you beat it, the dorr will unlock and the third torch will be lit. Head throught the door and back into the main room. When you enter the main room, the last poe will be in the center of the room. She will split into four parts and begin to circle around you. Watch all of the carefully, and the one that spins is the real poe. Pull out your bow and shoot that one. Continue this process until she is defeated. When the elevator rises, ride it down to the boss room. Push the walls to rotate it several times. Your first goal is to access the switch that unlocks the gate. After that, try to line it up with the corridor that leads to the Boss's lair.
Boss Fight: Phantom Ganon
Once the fight starts, get into the center of the room and use your Fairy Bow in first person. Look around at all the paintings on the wall and watch for the Phantom Ganon riding torwards you. When you see him, check the paintings to the left and right for fakes. Whichever one jumps put of the painting is the real Phantom Ganon. Shoot the real one with an arrow. It wil turn around and go back in the painting. Keep doing this until he hops off of his horse. When he does, he will attack you with balls of electricity. Swing your sword at it to deflect it right back at him. Keep doing this until it hits him. When it does, he will go down. Run over to him and use jumping strikes on him with your sword. Repeat this process until he is defeated.
After you beat him, a small video will take place showing Phantom Ganon being banished to the Dark World. After that, grab the Heart Container and head through the portal of light. You will be in the Sacred Realm, and Saria will reveal herself as the Sage of the Forest. She will give you the Forest Medalion, and you will be transported to outside the Great Deku Tree. You will see a little sprout, and it will pop up. Its a baby great deku tree! He will talk, and explain to Link that he is not a Kokiri, he is a Hylian. After al the talking, exit the Kokiri Forest.
