Kokiri Forest
New Items/Weapons:
Kokiri SwordDeku SheildDeku Stick

After a long intro video, the game will begin. Link wakes up from his nightmare, only to find Navi flying around in his face.

She tells Link that the Great Deku Tree wants to talk to him, so lets go there.
Once you exit your tree house and climb down the ladder, you will see Saria. You don't have to talk to her, but you can if you want. Now we must make our wayover to the Deku Tree. If you try to gain access to the passage to him, Mido will block your way and say that you need a Sword and a Sheild. First off, lets get the Sheild. Round up 40 rupees by walking through bushes and breaking rocks. You can also get some rupees in the area behind the Shop's countertop. Once you get the 40 rupees, go to the Shop, buy the Deku Sheild, and equip it. Now we need a Sword. Make your way torwards the exit of the Forest, and head up the little hill and you will be at the Training Grounds. At the back, there is a little hole. Crawl through it, and you will be in a small maze like area. Make your way through it, watching out for the giant rock, and open up the Treasure Chest at the back. You will get the Kokiri Sword. Equip it. Now you have the Sword and Sheild! Head back to Mido, and after a little text, he will let you through.
Make your way through the passageway(be sure to kill the Deku Babas' and nab the Deku Sticks they leave behind). After a short time of walking, you will be at the Great Deku Tree. He will begin to talk about a curse that was put on him, and he asks you if you are brave enough to enter him and rid the curse. Say yes, of course, and enter the tree.

This dungeon is fairly simple. Use the map shown above for reference, if you need it.
Once you enter the dungeon, climb the ladder that is on your left[Point A]. Once on the ledge, run all the way around, until you see a chest. Open it to get the map. Now continue your way along the path, until you reach a door. Enter it, and in this room a Deku Scrub will start spitting rocks at you. Just pull your sheild up, and deflect it right back at him. Now run up to him and slash him with your Sword. He will say some stuff, and the door will open. Enter it. In this room, jump down to the ground and climb the vines up. Open up the Treasure Chest, and you will get the Fairy Slingshot. Equip it to a C, and jump onto the ledge, and continue through the door. Now go back the way you came, by the first chest. You will see a large vine growth with a whole bunch of Skultulas crawling around on it[Point B]. Use the Fairy Slingshot and shoot all of the Skultulas. Now climb up the vines, until you reach the next floor. Theres not much to do on this floor, but there is the Compass and a Gold Skultula(check the map for reference). There are three openings in the giant spider web that surrounds the upper-area. A Giant Skultula is gaurding each one. Just kill one of them(wait 'till they turn around and slash with sword), and jump off the ledge into the Spider Web that is on the first floor. The web will break through, sending Link into a pool of water[Point C]. Once you land in the water, swim over to the ledge that should be on your right(it has a torch on it). Step on the switch, pull out a Deku Stick and jump across the water and onto the other ledge(watch out for a Deku Baba) and light the spider web.
When it burns down, go through the door. In this room, kill the Deku Scrub using the same process as the first one. He will give you a clue about gaining access to Queen Gohma's lair: 2, 3, 1. Twenty three is number one! Just remember that. Shoot the eye above the door with your Fairy Slingshot, and go through the door. In this room, there is a platform floating on the water, and a spike thing rotating. Jump into the water on your left hand side, and dive down and touch the switch. The water level will lower temporarily, so quickly swim back up and hop onto the platform, and ride across. On this side, run over to the block(kill the Skultula first)and push it over. Now jump onto the block, and up to the higher ledge. Go through the door. In this room, kill all the Deku Babas and light all the torches. The door will open, go through it. In this large, circular room, stay on the outside, near the walls. Use your Fairy Slingshot and look up at the ceiling. Shoot all of the little eggs that are up there. Now you are free to go in the center of the room. Run over to the torch, light a Deku Stick, and quickly run over to the spider web that is conceiling the door. When it burns down, crawl through the tunnel. You're back to the first room of the basement! Kill all the Deku Babas, and go over to the block on the other side of the ledge. Push it off the ledge. Now you can get to the higher level from the lower level. Jump down and light a Deku Stick on the torch down there, and quickly hop onto the block, and climb back onto the higher level. Now roll over the spider web[Point D], and it will burn, sending Link falling. Once you land, swim to the mainland. Remember the 2, 3, 1 deal? This is where you do it. There are three Deku Scrubs, one on the left, center, and right. Left=1, center=2, and right=3. Kill them in the order of 2, 3, 1. After you do that, you will gain access to Gohma's Lair.
Boss Fight: Queen Gohma
Pretty simple boss. Wait for her to come over to you, and when she rears back to attack, throw a Deku Nut at her. She will be stunned, so hack away at her eye with your Sword. She will retreat, and climb up the wall. Pull out your Fairy Slingshot and shoot her in the eye when her eye starts to turn red. She will fall and be stunned. Run up and hack away at her eye once again, with your Sword. Continue this process until she dies.
After the battle, grab the Heart Container and step into the warping light. You will now be infront of the Deku Tree. He will tell you a long, but interesting story about Ganondorf. After the story, he will tell you that it was too late to stop the curse. He then gives Link the Kokiri Emerald, and tell him to meet with the "Princess of Destiny". He then dies. Link will run off. When you gain control over Link once again, run over to the exit of the Kokiri Forest, and go through the wooden tunnel. A scene will now take place, and it shows Saria talk to Link. She gives Link the Fairy Ocarina, and Link exits the Kokiri Forest, and into Hyrule Field.

You can use this map as a reference to see where to go better
Welcome to Hyrule Field! Once you are out here, walk along the path, until an Owl talks to you. His name is Kaepora Gaebora, and he can really help you out if you need to know what you are doing. After he is done talking, run along the dirt path, rolling ever so often.
If you go fast by running and rolling you will make it to Hyrule Castle Market before nightfall. If you don't make it before the night, the drawbridge goes down, and you will have to wait until day time to get in. Once you're in the Market, walk to a girl standing on the other side of a circular structure. Talk to her. She will tell you about her lazy father. Now enter the Castle Courtyard, then go back into the Market. The girl will now be gone. Go back into the Courtyard, and there she is! Talk to her once again(her name is Malon), she will ask if you can find her Father, and she will give you an Egg. Equip it to a C and wait for it to hatch in the morning. Once it hatches, climb up the vines and make your way across the upper ledge, and jump down onto the ground. Now make your way to your left, and be very careful not to be caught by any guards. Now follow the little dirt path in the grass, and make your way to a rock wall you can climb. Climb up it, and jump into the Moat. Follow the Moat down, and there will be a level that is higher than the rest, and you can get onto dry land with it. Now go to your left, and wake up the sleeping man with the Cucco that hatched from the Egg. He will wake up, and tell you that he is Malon's Father, then he will run off. Now you are able to push the Milk Cartons onto the water ledge, and thus you will be able to jump from them onto the other side, and crawl through the tunnel.

Hyrule Castle
New Items'Weapons
Zelda's Letter

This is a pretty fun part in the game. You have to make it through the outside of the Castle without being caught by the guards. Hide behind bushes and stone pillars, because the guards won't be able to see you through them. Then time your run across. Donn't be tempted by the Rupees either, but if you want them, just slowly follow the guard that is in the area of the rupees.
There will be a long scene explaining the creation of Hyrule, and many other things. Zelda will also ask Link if he will help her get rid of Ganondorf, and obviously Link answers yes. She then gives you Zelda's Letter, which will allow you to gain access to Death Mountain. Once she's done talking, exit. You will be confronted by Impa before you are able to leave. She teaches Link the first song: Zelda's Lullaby. Then she takes you out of Hyrule Castle and points you in the direction of Death Mountain. But theres one thing we have to do before that...
